Reigning champions Deer Orchard also scored six at Dearham but their hosts did respond with three for themselves.

Alfie Green, Brandon Brown and Lewis Walling hit the target for Dearham.

The third top flight game ended all square as The Sun and Moresby shared six goals.

Moresby replied through Jamie Martin, Ellis Trotter and Aaron Hart.

In Division One, as usual, there were plenty of goals with two teams hitting double figures.

On target for Sun Inn were Dan Pearson (4), Ewan Trestianu (2), Robbie Woodburn (2), Kris Nichol (2), Kieron McCluskey and Ben Allan.

Cyran Corlett led the Mirehouse romp with five of the 11 goals, the others coming from Bradley Colaluca (2), Ryan O’Neil (2), Ryan Smith and Ethan Smith.

Declan Moore, Lewis Fleming and Liam Holder responded for the Falcons.

Maryport Amateurs and King’s Arms shared 10 goals in a 5-5 thriller.

Lewis Mattinson, Jamie Leech, Dan Elsworth, Lewis Moore and Carl Denver netted for Maryport with Lennox Hunter (4) and Jordan Baird making sure the game finished level.

In the other game Sun Inn Athletic beat Zebras 3-1 with goals from Jason Donald, Matty Hornsby and Dominic Harrison. Brandon Birks replied for the Zebras.
