
The two finalists in last season’s Fred Conway Cumberland Cup are exempt until the second round of this season’s competition.
Carlisle City beat Penrith to lift the trophy for the 2024/25 season and they, along with Workington and Carlisle United were not involved in the first round draw.
The games have to be played on or before October 11.
Cumberland County League champions Maryport Athletic have landed a home tie with Northbank.
Wetheriggs United, currently the only unbeaten side in Division One of the Westmorland League will host Keswick, former old rivals in that competition.
There’s also a tasty West Cumbrian derby in the offing between Bransty Rangers and Whitehaven Miners Social.
