Whitehaven have re-signed prop forward Aaron Turnbull on a new two-year deal.
It will keep the former England community Lion player at The Ortus Rec until the end of the 2027 season.
Signed from the National Conference League club Egremont Rangers ahead of the 2025 campaign Turnbull made 16 appearances scoring one try which came in the opening League One game of the season away to Swinton Lions.
Head coach Anthony Murray said: “I’m really pleased to have Aaron re-sign.
“He’s a local lad who’s stepped up to the professional game and shown great attitude and commitment to make sure he’s playing regularly.
“His hard work on and off the field has been rewarded, and it’s great to see him continue his journey with us.”
