A man has appeared in court in connection with a burglary at Maryport Rugby Club.
John Paul Chawner, 26, of no fixed address, is accused of committing burglary on September 30.
Chawner appeared before Carlisle’s magistrates’ court today, Saturday October 11.
He was remanded in custody and will next appear before Carlisle Crown Court on November 17.
