
A man in his 30s has been arrested after an incident involving the welfare of a child in Carlisle.
Police were called to the area outside Aldi on Dalston Road in the city at around 5.45pm yesterday.
They said they were called to a report of a concern for welfare of a small child.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody while an investigation is ongoing.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and any vehicles which were in the car park at that time which may be able to provide dash cam footage.
