
Two men have been arrested after alcohol was stolen from a Penrith shop.
Eden Police were called today at 2.38pm to a shop reporting that £200-worth of alcohol had been stolen.
At 2.41pm, officers started enquiries and traced a vehicle to the A66 eastbound.
Then at 2.52pm, officers caught the vehicle on the A66 and arrested two men.
The men are now in custody in Carlisle and their vehicle has also been seized.
All of the stolen items were also recovered by officers.
