A Barrow store owner has been awarded £5,000 after his shop sold a winning EuroMillions ticket.
Lakes Parades Stores sold the ticket to Valdet Bujupi in October, when his toddler decided she wanted some sweets.
Valdet and his wife Abbey Louise – regular customers at the shop – scooped £524,000.
The shop’s Daniel Cooper has been given the £5,000 as part of lottery operator Allwyn’s Share the Win initiative.
Retailers receive a reward when they sell a high-tier winning ticket or scratchcard worth £50,000-plus, subject to the player agreeing to publicity.
Daniel scooped the £5,000 silver tier prize for selling a ticket that won between £250,000 and £1 million.
Daniel said: “I was really pleased when I found out I’d won. It will help me treat the staff for all their hard work this year.

“We’re all delighted, but even happier for Abbey and Valdet. As a community shop, it’s great to share some good news locally.”
Abbey and Valdet added: ”We’re regulars in the shop, always popping in for bits and pieces, and a friendly chat with Daniel.
“When I went to buy some sweets for our daughter, I couldn’t have imagined that split-second decision would change our family’s future for the better, we still can’t believe it.
“To know that Daniel, and our lovely local shop, will also receive a prize and enjoy that winning feeling definitely makes our win just that bit sweeter.”
In addition to the cash prize, the shop has received new in-store kit to show customers that it is a lucky store – including a special Big Winner Made Here poster and wall plaque.
