Barrow Raiders coach Paul Crarey says his team has to be on it for their Challenge Cup tie at Wigan St Jude’s this afternoon.
Crarey has been on both sides of the amateur-pro divide as a player and knows the pitfalls involved.
Avoiding any complacency will be the number one priority for this second round tie and Crarey is happy with the way his players have been training.
He said: “They’ve been lively and focused after a very good win against Workington last week and training has gone well.
“We did well last year against amateur opposition and we have the incentive of a home draw in round three against York Knights.
“We will be taking a strong squad to play St Jude’s and if we go there in the right frame of mind I’m confident we will be fine.”
The Barrow 21 named for the game are Anderson-Moore, Archer, Broadbent, Bullock, Bulman, Costello, Cresswell, Emslee, Johnston, King, Knott, Richards, Ritson, Robson, Stack, Teare, B Walker, T Walker, Watson, Wood, Woodend.
