Tonight’s first Fred Conway County Cup quarter final has been postponed.
Carlisle City, of the Northern League, were due to be entertaining Windscale from the Wearside League.
However, an inspection of City’s Gillford Park pitch this morning ruled that it was too heavy in places for a game to take place.
Two of the ties are scheduled to be played next Tuesday – Workington v Unisun Athletic and Kirkoswald v Carlisle United (at Penrith).
The fourth quarter final, with Cleator Moor Celtic hosting Penrith, will be played on Saturday, February 7.
