A £1,000 reward has been offered to help law enforcement track down a wanted man in connection with a spate of burglaries.
Crimestoppers has issued the appeal for 30-year-old John Moorhouse.
Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information the charity receives that leads to the arrest of Moorhouse.
He is thought to be hiding in the Huddersfield area of West Yorkshire.
Gary Murray, North West regional manager for the charity Crimestoppers, said: “Moorhouse’s crimes have brought misery to many people in Cumbria whose homes he is believed to have burgled.
“The victims have had their homes violated and lost precious possessions, living each day knowing that someone has been in their homes where they rightly should have felt safe.
“We hope that this reward will encourage those who know where John Moorhouse is to contact us anonymously.
“Crimestoppers is independent of the police. When you contact the charity, you stay completely anonymous. Your personal details are never asked for, and your call or online report cannot be traced back to you.”
Information passed directly to the police will not qualify for the reward and it will only be payable for information passed directly to Crimestoppers.
A reward code must be asked for when calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
If you contact the charity via their online form anonymously, the Keep in Contact Portal must be used, and a reward code must be requested on your initial contact.
