
Two men were arrested after police found £100,000-worth of ketamine after officers stopped a vehicle near Carlisle.
Police stopped the vehicle just after midnight on Saturday, January 31.
Officers searched the vehicle and located and seized 5kg of ketamine with a street value of £100,000 and a smaller quantity of cocaine.
Two men have now been charged.
Robbie McBride, 22, of Findlay Drive, Glasgow and Shaun Crotty, 23, of Old Dumbarton Road, Glasgow were both charged with:
- Possession with intent to supply a class A drug- cocaine
- Failing to stop a vehicle
- Possession with intent to supply a class B drug – ketamine
- Possession of criminal property
Both men are due to appear before Carlisle Magistrates court today, Monday, February 2.
