Cockermouth earned themselves a place in the Conway Cup final after a tense battle with Wigton Harriers at Highfield in their semi-final ended 3-2 in their favour.
It was decided by a late Wigton own goal in the dying minutes, a cruel way for it to end for the Harriers.
The first half had been end to end, but it was goalless at the half time break, with Wigton having had more of the chances but neither side being able to convert their opportunities.
The second half opened with Cockermouth now looking the better organised side, and Luke Graham opened the scoring 10 minutes in with a strike from the left of the box that curled into the top left corner of the net.
On the hour Keith Skillen made it two with an angled shot from the right, and Cockermouth looked like they could cruise to victory.
Wigton had other ideas and after sustained pressure Adam Gordon grabbed a goal back on 75 minutes with a close range shot that evaded a diving Jake Winter.

Six minutes later Liam Lightfoot equalised for Wigton to set up a thrilling finish.
The game was decided with three minutes left on the clock when Wigton conceded a late own goal after a scramble in their penalty box.
The other semi-final also ended 3-2 with two of the leading sides meeting in Carlisle, as Unisun Athletic beat Maryport Athletic.

Two previous games between the sides had produced a win apiece and Unisun edged ahead in that particular battle with their old rivals.
It had been 1-1 at half-time before the home side got the better of an exciting second-half.
Former Man City youth player Kingsley Grandison, Shane Doward and Ryan Scott scored for Unisun with Ryley Short and Logan Bosward replied for Maryport.
Top match in the Cumberland County League Premier Division was the Copeland derby in which Whitehaven Miners edged out Mirehouse 2-1.
That was a blow to Mirehouse who could have gone second if they had picked up the three points.

The Miners, who led 1-0 at half-time, scored through Paul McNally and Nathan Walkinshaw while Mirehouse replied through Elliot Law.
Aspatria are putting a little unbeaten run together after a poor start to the season, although they just squeezed home against bottom side Cleator Moor Celtic reserves.
It finished 3-2 with Aspatria’s goals coming from Logan Dixon, Andrew Trestianu and Jack Coyne while Liam Johnston and Brad Barwise responded for Celtic.

Workington Juniors could have gone top if they had won at Keswick but the game was postponed as the pitch was unplayable after heavy overnight rain.
Also off was the Division One game between Windscale reserves and Cockermouth reserves.
Both the leading Division One sides were successful – Dearham beating Silloth 3-1 and Northbank winning 4-3 at Whitehaven reserves.
Jack Brown, Aaron Lister and Matty Oglanby scored for Dearham with Bradley Williamson on target for Silloth.

The Northbank goals came from Charlie Thompson (2), Ewan Tedford and Goncalo Reid. Kian Goulding (2) and Joe Mattin notched for Whitehaven.
There was another tight game at Bransty where the Rangers beat Miners Development 3-2 with goals from Alfie Cornish, Chris Armstrong and Ce-Jay Irvine. Adam Gordon and Liam Lightfoot scored for the Miners.
