Workington Reds have suffered a blow with the loss of on-loan striker Daniel Ogwuru.
Morecambe had originally agreed for the striker to stay with Reds until the end of the season but have now recalled him.
He leaves Reds relegation battle in the Northern Premier League Premier Division to one two levels higher in the National League.
Reds are six points from safety in their battle while Morecambe have nine points to make-up to stave off a second successive relegation.
Ogwuru has scored three goals, including a double at Gainsborough in his five games for the club.
Speaking to the Cumbria Crack manager Billy Barr said: “Obviously as a football club we are disappointed to be losing Daniel back to his parent club.
“When he first joined I said to him that the best thing for him would be to that Morecambe recall him as that would mean he had done well with us.
“Obviously that has happened now down to the fact that he has scored three goals in his five games for us.
“We all wish Daniel the best of luck for the remainder of this season but also for the rest of his career. I’m sure many Reds fans will now keep an eye on his progress as well.
“In the meantime we will be looking to replace Daniel for our own run-in.”
Reds resume their battle for Premier Division survival with another home game on Saturday against Rushall.
