A car left on the A66 with no insurance has been seized by police.
Eden Police were called out yesterday evening to a report of a vehicle on fire on the A66 near Brougham.
While on arrival the vehicle was found to not be on fire – it was abandoned with no occupant in sight.
Police checks found the vehicle also had no insurance which led to it being seized.
