A dispersal order was issued in Workington town centre last night following anti-social behaviour.
Allerdale police said there were reports of issues yesterday, Friday March 6.
They included young people throwing eggs at shops, kicking balls at shop windows and throwing traffic safety equipment around.
The dispersal order was in place from 7.45pm until 7am today.
A dispersal order allows police officers and PCSOs to direct a person who has engaged/likely to engage in anti-social behaviour, to leave a specified area and not to return for a period of 48 hours. The specified area cannot include the place where they live/work.
