Workington Town go in search of their first Championship win of the season on Sunday when they host the revamped Salford at the Fibrus Community Stadium.

Jonty Gorley’s men picked up their first point in a dramatic finish at Keighley last week in a 16-16 draw.

The next step will be to collect the first two-points against a side which has been largely put together from just before the start of the season after their Super League demise and resurrection.

Salford, have just announced loan deals for Agnatius Paasi and Harvey Braddish from St Helens while they have confirmed the return of the Wigan quartet of Lukas Mason, Dayon Sambou, George O’Loughlin and Jonny Vaughan. All are in the squad for the Town game.

They are one point and one place above Town, 17th and 18th in the Championship table.

As for Town Gorley has made just one change to the 21 who were named for the Keighley game – Braden Leigh being replaced by Grant Reid.

Town squad: R Ainley, Bradley, Carter, Castle, Corkill, Dickinson, Donaghy, Farrer, Fulton, Galea, Gibson, Gittens-Bedward, Graham, Lawther, Lewthwaite, Lupton, Phillips, Reid, Rawhiti, Scholey, Williams

Salford squad: Gatcliffe, Haldenby, Dwyer, Garmston, Windley, Hartley, Hill, Hughes, Sambou, Ayanlaja-Lowo, Ross, Stanton, Costello, Van Osselaer, Braddish, Mason, Paasi, Yates, O’Laughlin, Appleby, Vaughan.
