
Two months of roadworks are planned for a section of the A66 in West Cumbria.
National Highways said it was carrying out repairs on the road between Great Broughton and the Fitz roundabout.
Workers will be resurfacing the road, replacing road markings and repairing drainage.
Teams will work overnight to minimise disruption from 8pm to 6am and work is due to start on Monday, March 16 and be completed by May 15.
Lane closures and temporary traffic lights will be in place and convoy working will also operate.

Traffic management will be lifted over Easter and reinstated from Tuesday April 7.
