A Penrith hotel has undergone a £760,000 revamp.
Twenty-two bedrooms at the North Lakes Hotel and Spa have been remodelled and renovated during the six-week programme.
José Gomez, general manager at North Lakes Hotel and Spa, said: “It was important for us to go beyond a surface-level makeover.
” We really considered each space and how we can use and maximise it to best suit our guests; we studied feedback and sought out expert opinion.”
As well as the bedrooms, the Hartside meeting room also had a comprehensive renovation. The hotel’s other conference spaces were refurbished in 2024.
North Lakes Hotel and Spa is part of the family-run hospitality group, Thwaites.
It said the refurbishment on the rooms was part of a wider project that will eventually see a renovation of other public areas in the hotel.
José added: “We’re committed to continuous investment and improvement of North Lakes Hotel and Spa, and the refurbishment of our bedrooms and conference space is only the beginning.”
