Barrow Raiders entertain free-scoring Oldham in the Betfred Championship, extra keen to make up for last week’s disappointing defeat at Newcastle Thunder.
That 37-22 defeat against the much-improved north-east outfit ended a five-game winning run in the Championship.
It won’t be easy for Paul Crarey’s men, as Oldham have scored 70 points in each of their last two games against Hunslet and Workington Town.
However they will arrive in South Cumbria under a bit of a cloud following the sudden resignation of chairman Bill Quinn and revelations that the players are waiting for their latest wages which are overdue.
The 21-man squad has been named ahead of Sunday’s match and it sees Andrew Bulman returns to the squad for the first time since February, alongside Harvey Makin and Trent Ruddy.
The trio replace Charlie Emslie, Ellis Robson and Tom Walker, who miss out after featuring for the Raiders in last weekend’s defeat in Newcastle.
Oldham have Ben O’Keefe and Morgan Smith in the squad with Marcus Geener dropping out.
