Man banned from 24 Workington stores, all Greggs and a chip shop

A man has been banned from 24 Workington stores, supermarkets, corner shops and a fish and chip shop for two years.

Alan Kendrick, 49, of no fixed address, was given a two-year Criminal Behaviour Order on May 5.

It follows Kendrick appearing at court where he was convicted for theft offences.

The conditions of the Criminal Behaviour Order are that he must not to enter any property or premises that are members of the Workington Schemelink scheme, or who display the Schemelink sign at any time including but not limited to the following shops:

  • Argos Workington
  • Bon Marche
  • Boots  
  • Dominos
  • H Samuel
  • Herons
  • HMV
  • Home Bargains
  • Iceland
  • Marks & Spencer
  • Poundstretcher
  • Savers Murray
  • Seventh Heaven
  • Shoe Zone
  • Sinclairs Jewellers
  • Sole Diva 37
  • Sports Direct
  • Sparklez
  • Stagecoach
  • Superdrug
  • The Entertainer
  • Tesco
  • The Animal Haven
  • TKMax
  • Trespass

With the addition of:

  • Must not enter any Spar stores
  • Must not enter Greggs
  • Must not enter any Asda
  • Must not enter any Morrisons
  • Must not enter JD Sports
  • Must not enter Moorclose Fisheries

The punishment for breaking the terms of a CBO can be up to five years in prison.

Anyone who witnesses Kendrick breaching the terms of his CBO should contact the police.
