A Carlisle woman has appeared in court accused of stabbing a man during an alleged incident in late April.
It is alleged Chelsea McGarvie, 31, unlawfully and maliciously wounded a man, with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm, on April 25 this year.
He is alleged to have been stabbed in the leg.
McGarvie, latterly of Whinsmoor Drive, Carlisle, appeared at the city’s magistrates’ court this afternoon.
No plea was entered by McGarvie to the charge that she faces.
The case was sent by a district judge to Carlisle Crown Court where a plea and trial preparation is due to take place on July 7.
In the meantime McGarvie was granted bail. Two conditions were attached to that bail.
One prohibits here from contacting a number of witnesses in the case by any means.
A second condition stipulates that McGarvie must report to a police station on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
