
Last year’s champions Workington A have gone to the top of the West Cumbria Fours League.
They took full advantage of the fact that both Whitehaven A and Fitz Park were not in league action last week and went past them with a convincing 7-0 win at Maryport.
Cleator Moor would have gone top had they not dropped two points at Seaton.

In the West Cumbria Mixed Triples League, Harris Park A continued their good form last week with a 9-0 home win against the bottom club Vulcan Park B, but it could so easily have been 5-4.
Going into the final end, on one rink Harris Park were three shots down but managed to score four shots to win by one shot and, on another rink, it was all square but the Harris Park four scored one shot to also secure a one shot victory.
Workington B remain in second place after a 9-0 home win over Harris Park B and have a game in hand over the leaders.
