The latest HRA meeting was a four grade event at Walton Moss with 52 hounds turning out on the night.

Ten of those were entered into the Seniors with Willie and Craig Mark and Billy Lindsay’s Sportsman the first to force the pace.

George Burgon and Carole Tunstall’s Mr Mally and Ruth and Charlie Dixons Let It Be were with him.

The hounds come back into sight going past the field where Denise and Jenny Bland and Ella and Kyle Gallacher’s Jenny’s Chance had joined Sportsman and Mr Mally at the front and the trio were having a good race as they went out of sight.

Once they appeared at the top of the hill on the finish there were now five who had gone clear with the group being led by Sportsman.

After the run to the line Sportsman took the honours by a length from Jenny’s Chance and Mr Mally.
