A road is set to close for resurfacing at Thurstonfield.

Cumberland Council will carry out carriageway resurfacing works on the B5307 at Thurstonfield, starting on Monday 22 June.

The work is expected to last for five working days, subject to weather and site conditions.

To keep both the workforce and the public safe, the works will take place under a temporary road closure, with a signed diversion route in place.

Working hours will be between 8am and 4pm each day. During this time, access will still be maintained for emergency vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

For more information, or if you have any specific access requirements, you can:

  • Visit https://www.cumberland.gov.uk/roads
  • Call the Highways Hotline on 0300 373 3736

When contacting the council, state your enquiry is regarding B5307 Thurstonfield West – Carriageway Resurfacing.
