The Millom club is the latest to announce a change in the coaching set up.

Current player Chris Park will be taking on the role of Head Coach for the 2026/27 season.

Chris has spent the last few years in a player/senior coaching role, supporting the previous Head Coach, Gav McQuire.

He now steps up into the lead coaching role but there has been no indication whether he will hang up his boots because of that.

Millom will be operating in Division Two of the new Cumbria League set up, designated as Level 8.

Last season they finished bottom of the one tier Division after having 25 points docked following an abandoned game against Egremont.

Creighton will also be operating in Division Two next season and they have appointed Jeff Clare, the former Cockermouth coach as the new man to lead them into their centenary season.

Up in Division One the former Carlisle, Kendal, Keswick and Cumbria player Glen Weightman has taken over the head coaching role.
