A youngster was accidently burnt while camping in the Lake District with his dad.
Coniston Mountain Rescue Team was initially called by Cumbria police to Seathwaite Tarn, in the Duddon Valley, on Saturday, June 20 at around 5.30pm.
The team said: “As they were located at the east of Seathwaite Tarn, the incident was transferred to the neighbouring Duddon & Furness Mountain Rescue Team.
“We offered to meet up with the team if the father and son required a lift back to Coniston. This offer was taken up later, but shortly after we set off we were advised that family was on its way to the Duddon & Furness Mountain Rescue Team base and would drive them to hospital.”
