Workington Reds retained the Shaun Hocking Memorial Trophy after a 5-1 win last night against Whitehaven Amateurs.
In a mixed Reds squad were six seniors, nine members of their development team and trialist goalkeeper Danny Eccles.
The Northern Premier League side led 3-0 at half-time with Charlie Bowman netting twice and Robbie Hebson also on target.
Kian Goulding reduced the arrears for Whitehaven soon after the restart and their keeper Tom Fowler saved a Reds penalty from Dave Symington.

In the closing stages, Reds added to their lead with goals from skipper Conor Tinnion and from one of the development squad, Thomas Houghton, soon after he came on as a substitute.
Reds continue their build-up to the start of the NPL season on August 14 with a trip to Consett on Saturday.
Trialist keeper Eccles is likely to be given a full game against the Northern League side when Reds might look at another couple of trialists.
