Wigton Motor Club ran the first of its monthly Cars & Coffee morning meets on Sunday.
Despite a poor weather forecast there was a turnout of around 70 cars and about 100 enthusiasts who gathered for a good chat about cars and to view the newly completed Motor House.
The club’s headquarters has been built by members over the last three years and is a base for the club’s activities, a store for equipment, a flexible meeting space and a committee meeting room.
The next Coffee & Cars will be at Lingholm Gardens on September 12 and then monthly at the Motor House.
The club’s major annual event the Cumbria Classic & Motorsport Show at Dalemain is on August 22.
