Whitehaven’s stock continues to rise after a remarkable victory over London Broncos.
It was their fifth straight home win and from being 18-6 down late in the first-half they scored 26 unanswered points to win 32-18.
The Broncos just couldn’t match Haven’s spirit and enthusiasm in the second-half when they scored three converted tries.
Australian star Lachlan Walmsley was at the heart of the action again with a try, five conversions and a penalty.
But loose forward Tom Wilkinson earned the sponsors’ man of the match award.
It was Wilkinson who helped put Haven level with a try, converted by Walmsley after the Broncos had taken an early lead with a try from Miski, converted by Hankinson.

The Broncos threatened to run away with the game at one point as they established an 18-6 lead with further tries from Hodson and Curran, both converted by Hankinson.
Haven needed a score and they got it four minutes from the break when Liam Cooper powered over and Walmsley converted.
Early in the second-half the hosts were level when Andrew Bulman scored the third try, again converted by Walmsley.
To huge cheers a penalty from Walmsley put Haven in front for the first time – and they never looked back from there.
A ball steal from Karl Dixon paved the way for a try by Nikau Williams and Walmsley converted.
Then an acrobatic finish in the corner from Walmsley sealed the win with the fifth Haven try which he converted.
Broncos tried to rally but some superb defensive work, forcing a succession of errors, saw Haven hold firm for a famous victory.
