
Cumbria’s two surviving clubs in the FA Vase competition have been favoured with home draws in the second round.
Carlisle City, impressive 5-1 winners over Chester-le-Street on Saturday, will entertain Abbey Hey.
Holker Old Boys, who enjoyed a fine 3-1 win over Skelmersdale at the weekend, will host Wythenshawe Town.
Abbey Hey are currently lying third in the North West Counties First Division South and the Manchester side are five points off the leaders but with a game in hand.
In Saturday’s first-round proper Abbey Hey were 6-0 winners over Parkgate FC.
Wythenshawe Town are currently sixth in the North West Counties Premier Division, some 11 points behind leaders Macclesfield and one game in hand.
They have recently signed Kendal goalkeeper Morgan Bacon and Workington midfielder Paul Marshall.
On Saturday they drew 0-0 in the North East against Seaham Red Star and then won the penalty shootout 4-3.
The ties will be played on Saturday, November 20 when the winning teams will receive another £900 while the losers pick up £275.
