Workington Reds have announced two more departures ahead of the return to training next month.
Nico Evangelinos and Scott Fenwick wont be with the NPL West club next season, following last week’s announcement that Brad Carroll was also going.
Evangelinos, having played under Chris Willcock at Ramsbottom, was the former manager’s first signing when he took over at Reds in July. He has looked a very good player when seen, with a good scoring record, but his season was badly affected by injury.
Fenwick, who came into bolster the squad when injuries were still biting, was mainly used as a substitute and his only goal came from the penalty spot against Runcorn Linnets.
Assistant manager Steven Rudd said: “Scott was a great character to have in the dressing room. He was a great lad who settled in very well and never missed a training session or game.

“Credit to him for the way he conducted himself in his short stay with us. We wish him all the in the future.
“Nico had a very frustrating season with injury. He is a top lad, a great character and even when injured for long spells he was a good character to have in the dressing room. He travelled to all matches to support the lads and be around to help out.
“He worked very hard to regain fitness and make himself available for the final few games of the season. His goals per game contribution was excellent.
“I hope Nico can overcome the injuries he has had this season and look to have a successful season next time. We wish him all the best in the future….apart from when he lines up against the Reds.”
Reds boss Danny Grainger has completed talks with the 2021/22 squad and still has to confirm any further departures or new arrivals.
