Haven’s Summer Bash shirt 2022

Whitehaven have unveiled their special shirt to be worn in the Summer Bash clash with Workington Town on Sunday, July 31.

The special weekend for Championship clubs is being held at Headingley in Leeds for the first time.

It will be only the third time the derby has taken place outside of the county with the previous two encounters taking place at the Summer Bash in 2015 and 2016.

Town won the first Bash meeting between the two sides and Haven gained their revenge in the second.

The shirt is predominantly navy blue also incorporating chocolate and gold bands representing the club’s traditional colours of chocolate, blue and gold. Director of rugby Gary Charlton had a major role in the design.

Before it’s worn the club is looking for sponsorship for this kit with the chance of national and international coverage as the fixture is being broadcast by Premier Sports.

Pre-orders for this can be taken via the club office by contacting 01946 328088 and delivery dates will be confirmed once the production dates are confirmed. Adults shirts are priced at £40 while £28 are kids.

To discuss sponsorship anyone interested should contact Director of Rugby Gary Charlton on 07768131818. Deadline for this is Friday May 27.
