Struggling Workington Town have been given a helping hand by county neighbours Barrow Raiders.
The Barrow forward Connor Terrill has joined on Town on loan until the end of the season.
Terrill, 21, has been with the Raiders since 2020, making eight appearances in that time and has recently been on loan with the League One side West Wales Raiders to aid his development.
The Raiders will have a 48-hour recall option after two weeks of the deal but Town have expressed their thanks to the Barrow club for their assistance.
The former Millom amateur previously played for Barrow’s academy side, the Furness Raiders.
He was also named Scotland’s Under-19s Player of the Year for 2019, and was called up to their extended train-on squad in 2021.
Terrill will be thrust into a baptism of fire when Town go into action on Sunday at the Summer Bash against local rivals Whitehaven.
