A van driver was airlifted to hospital after he was involved in a collision in West Cumbria.
The Road in the Kirkland was closed both ways while investigation work went on between the A5086 and Ennerdale Bridge.
The collision involved one vehicle and it is understood it collided with a wall.
The driver’s injuries are not known.
