Barrow have unveiled the young forward who scored two outstanding goals in pre-season games.
Benni Smales-Braithwaite (20) was playing as a trialist for the Bluebirds when he netted two crackers against Holker Old Boys and Witton Albion.
He’s now put pen to paper to see him make a permanent move to the SO Legal Stadium.
He was with the Manchester City youth academy until 2018, when he joined fellow Premier League outfit Southampton.
After leaving The Saints this summer Smales-Braithwaite took the opportunity to go on trial with Pete Wild’s team and has done enough to earn himself a contract.
