Prospect Spring winner again of the Open Restricted race back at Wythop

Hunter’s Flame moved clear second in the HTA senior championship table after her win at Wythop last night.

Caroline Graham’s charge had been level on six points with four other hounds but is now just two behind long-time leader Duchess Ava,’

She came with a short lead and hung on to win from Nicola McMaster’s Martha with Debbie and Lana McGee’s Apache finishing in third.

Miterdale Duchess, who is also chasing the title with six wins to date, took the last ticket.

Caroline Graham with Hunter’s Flame clear second in senior table after win at Wythop.

Foxparke Beep Beep is running well lately and in the absence of puppy table leader Huntsman’s Rebel who won on Sunday, she was a good winner of the junior trail. Coming with a decent lead she beat Martin, Joanna and Molly Burrows’ Thorn Thunder.

Beep Beep is affectionally known as Bubbles, and Neil who normally slips her, was particularly delighted with her performance on this occasion.

Stuart Smith’s Prospect Spring won the open restricted trail, repeating the success from the last meeting at Wythop. Clearly liking the terrain he beat Nicola McMaster’s Silver Streak.
