Renewed appeal after woman threatened in garden

Police officers in high visibility jackets

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman claimed she was threatened by a man in her garden.

The incident happened on August 19 in the Raughton Head area, near Carlisle, and officers said they were pursing new lines of enquiry.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a man described as white with black hair, wearing a camouflage jacket and trousers in that area on that date.

Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it, quoting incident number 80 of 19th August 2022 or call 101.
