National Conference newcomers Ellenborough Rangers will have a Cumbrian derby for their first game in Division Three.

Elbra will start with a trip to neighbours Seaton Rangers who just missed out on promotion in their first season this year.

The game is being played on Saturday, March 4, a fortnight earlier than originally programmed and will be the first game played in Division Three.

Indeed it’s a competitive start for Paul Gorge and his Ellenborough side as their first three fixtures are against fellow Cumbrian teams.

They will entertain Hensingham on March 11 and after a blank weekend on March 18 will make the trek south to play Millom on March 25.

Millom start their programme on March 11 with a home derby against Seaton.

Kells, promoted as champions of Division One, will open their Premier Division campaign at Leigh Miners Rangers on March 11 and follow-up at home with a west Cumbrian derby with Wath Brow.

The Hornets open the campaign at home to York Acorn whose late season run of form saved their Premier Division status.

Egremont Rangers were relegated and will start with an away fixture at Pilkington Recs on March 4.

Their first home game will be on March 11 when they host Thornhill who went down with them at the end of last season.

Barrow Island missed out on promotion from Division Two and will resume in the same League with a trip to Woolston Rovers. They follow up on March 11 at home to St Jude’s.
