Keswick Film Festival returns for its 23rd year, promising a world tour of independent film, from China to Chile and from Bhutan back to Britain, via Iran and Iceland.
The programme of 25 films will be on screen at the town’s Alhambra Cinema and Theatre by the Lake and at Rheged, near Penrith from February 23 to February 26.
Organisers promise films that will make you smile, make you cry and others that challenge your assumptions.
Highlight of the festival will be Winners, the official UK entry for the Oscars. Director Hassan Nazer will be in Keswick to introduce his film.
Weekend passes are available as well as individual tickets.
