
Whitehaven have named two new faces in their 21-strong squad for the home game tomorrow against Keighley Cougars.
Loanee Sam Haynes from Rochdale Hornets joins local teenager Oscar Doran, a former Newcastle Falcons Academy winger in coach Jonty Gorley’s selection.
Their arrival comes at a time that Whitehaven have lost full-back Sam Freeman for the season with the second ACL injury of his career.
Also back in the Whitehaven squad is young forward Jake Bradley who spenty a short time on loan at Workington where he played once.
Haven are looking for a bumper crowd for the visit of the Cougars as a result of their latest initiative which has been centred around local businesses.

The big news from Keighley is that their star winter signing Luke Gale will not be involved following his departure to Super League side Wakefield Trinity.
Also missing out is experienced former Doncaster hooker Kyle Kesick has joined Midlands Hurricanes on an initial two-week loan period, with the agreement reviewed weekly thereafter.
Kesik is looking to get more game time and Keighley coach Rhys Lovegrove agreed this would be the best move for him to achieve his desire to play more minutes
