Cumbria will play their NCCA Trophy quarter final at Keswick this Sunday with an 11am start.
Cheshire will provide the opposition after Cumbria beat Lincolnshire – and the weather – at the weekend to make it through as group winners.
Opponents Cheshire just scrambled through on run rate over Shropshire after they had appeared to be in trouble against their rivals chasing a huge score, when the weather intervened.
Cumbria’s comprehensive nine-wicket win over Lincolnshire was at Keswick’s award-winning Fitz Park ground and they are happy to be going back there for the next stage of their quest to reach a fourth successive NCCA Trophy final.
The squad still has to be announced after changes were made for the Lincolnshire game – one of them on the morning of the match when Freddie Fallows (Kendal) pulled out through illness to be replaced by James Bowman (Penrith).
