
A woman has been arrested following a report of two dogs dangerously out of control in Whitehaven.
The 27-year-old, who is from the town, was arrested on suspicion of a person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury. She has been released under investigation.
Police were called at 3.39pm yesterday to the report on Westmoreland Road.
A man in his 70s suffered an injury to his hand during the incident.
Both dogs were contained and seized by police.
