Walby Farm Park is thrilled to announce its latest and most exciting addition to the autumn line-up – Pumpkin Picking After Dark.

This new event, the first of its kind in Cumbria, promises an unforgettable evening of Halloween festivities.

On Friday October 20 and Friday October 27, after the sun sets and the little ones have headed home, Walby Farm Park will transform into an evening pumpkin paradise.

From 6.30pm to 9pm, attendees will have the unique opportunity to explore the illuminated Pumpkin Patch, brimming with an array of pumpkins ready for picking.

Walby Farm Park’s Pumpkin Picking After Dark event isn’t your ordinary night out – it’s a mini pumpkin festival tailored for grown-ups – with a little fun in our Adventure Play Barn, Milecastle and Animal Barn thrown in!

Attendees can enjoy the company of friends, partners, or visit in groups as they make their way to the pumpkin patch, complemented by live music in our marquee that will set the mood for the festivities.

“Our adult visitors have always had a playful side, so we decided to treat them to an evening of spooky pumpkin fun,” said Katie Milbourn, owner of Walby Farm Park.

“Pumpkin Picking After Dark is a first for Cumbria, and we can’t wait to welcome our evening guests to this exclusive event, providing them with a truly unique experience,” she added.

Pumpkin Picking After Dark not only offers an evening pumpkin-picking* experience but there will be spooky themed food and drinks available to buy, adding to the festival-like atmosphere.

So, prepare for an enchanting evening of pumpkin picking, live music, food, drinks and lots of Halloween spirit. Join us for Pumpkin Picking After Dark – a night to remember, only at Walby Farm Park!

Tickets are also now on sale for our General Pumpkin Picking on the Farm event, running from October 1 to October 31!

Bring the whole family along for a day of pumpkin-filled fun during one of Walby’s most popular events.

With Halloween-themed activities during half term and a chance to explore the Pumpkin Patch filled with eight varieties grown right here on the farm (we’ve been growing vegetables and crops here since 1928), there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Don’t miss the chance to create magical memories at Walby Farm Park, the place to be for Pumpkin Picking in 2023.
