Albert Hayton was the latest winner in the series of shows being staged by Workington Victoria in the Union Jack Club last night.
It was a class of 48 old hens which were judged by Ian McGarr.
For good measure, Albert picked up a ticket for fifth and as well as the cash he was presented with a Union Jack medallion. Two other lofts earned two tickets each.
The ticket winners were: 1, 5, A. Hayton; 2, Bromley and co; 3, McLuckie bros; 4, 6, J. and A. Edgar; 7, 8,. Williams and Hadfield.
Next Friday’s show is for young cocks, judging 7.30pm.
Flimby HS continue their series on Wednesday with a show for young hens (judging 7.30pm).
