Workington will have a quick reintroduction with their former loan player Joe Bunney.
The 30-year-old defender has joined Hyde United from neighbours Stalybridge on loan for the rest of the season.
Bunney had two months with the Reds on loan from Stalybridge and will be included in the Hude squad on Saturday against Danny Grainger’s men
A popular member of the Workington squad during his time with the West Cumbrians Bunney has plenty of EFL experience with the likes of Rochdale, Stockport County, Bolton and Grimsby.
Hyde boss Nick Spooner feels Bunney can add versatility to the squad due to the fact he can play in three or four positions.
He was an unused substitute on the bench for Saturday’s 5-1 win at Morpeth but made his debut in midweek when Hyde beat Altrincham 2-0 in the quarter final of the Cheshire Senior Cup.
Meanwhile Reds have lost a lifelong supporter in Ken Gibson, 74, of Penrith whose death after a short illness has just been announced.
Ken travelled to Borough Park for all home matches from his Penrith home and was always in position behind the town end goals.
His wife Joan died in December. The pair had two children, Claire and Ian, and three grandchildren.
