Aspatria and Wigton Area, along with Oulton Supporters Club, held their presentation night and race night recently at Wheyrigg Hotel.
A total of £520 was raised on the night which will be put back into the sport via an increased prize money hound trail in the Area later on in the season.
After the excellent meal the night opened with four races on the big screen after which the trophy winners were presented with their awards for the 2023 season.
The night concluded with the final four races being held and a rather lively auction race to bring a successful event to a close.
Area officials Colin Satterthwaite and Andy Horn thanked all those who supported the event and the sponsors of the individual races who were Paisleys Quality Butchers Wigton, Sun Inn Aspatria, Mark Bryden, Oulton Supporters Club, Christopher ‘Kipper’ Henderson and Criffel Vue Private Hire Ltd.
