Appeal after violent fight breaks out in Carlisle McDonald’s car park

An appeal has been launched after a violent fight broke out in a McDonald’s car park in Carlisle.

The incident took place on London Road at 11.45am, on Thursday 11 April.

Police were called out to a group of men fighting that was reported to have started following a crash in the car park.

The constabulary added that it is aware of social media posts speculating that the incident may be racially aggravated.

It said that all lines of enquiry will be investigated, but at this time there is no information to corroborate that the incident is racially aggravated.

Enquiries will remain ongoing by police to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

At this stage, there are also no details on the severity of any injuries suffered as a result of this incident.

Officers are urging anyone with information or any witnesses to contact police.
