Penrith were knocked-out of the FA Cup by a penalty in the third minute of added time at Frenchfield.
The Cumbrians had come from a goal down against Crook Town to lead 2-1 but two late goals put the visitors into the next round.
Another slow start didn’t help Penrith’s cause and on 20 minutes Crook took the lead with the opening goal from Charlie Bunton.
It hadn’t been a very good 45 minutes from the home side but they put together a really good 20 minute spell in the second half when they should have put the tie beyond Crook’s reach.
Ronan Irving grabbed the equaliser on 48 minutes and Robbie Hebson put them ahead nine minutes later.
But some poor finishing cost Penrith dearly as three times chances from less than ten yards saw the ball fired over the bar.
It came back to bite them on 79 minutes when Penrith couldn’t deal with a ball into the box and Sonni Coleman knocked home the equaliser.
Then in the third minute of time added on at the end Crook Town were awarded a penalty and Coleman tucked it away to win the game.
