Workington Town look stronger for their latest League One fixture with several players returning to the squad.
Jonty Gorley’s men have a crucial home clash on Sunday against second-in-the-table Midlands Hurricanes, a week after a late collapse saw them well beaten at leaders North Wales Crusaders.
Steve Scholey, Guy Graham, Levi Atiga, Callum Farrer and Andy Djeukessi are back in the 21-strong squad along with Dom Wear who was 18th man at Colwyn Bay.
Gorley said: “We need to be better than we were for the last 20 minutes against the Crusaders. That has happened a bit recently so it’s up to us to put it right and I’m expecting a reaction after Sunday.
“I still have to finalise my team and will need to look at a couple of lads who have had injuries but it’s good that a number of those missing last week will be back in contention.”
The Town 21-strong squad has been announced as: Ross Ainley, Jake Carter, Lennon Clark, Andy Djeukessi, Dave Eccleston, Spencer Fulton, Guy Graham, Zach Jebson, Grant Reid, Jack Stephenson, Levi Atiga, Lucas Castle, Rio Corkill, Jamie Doran, Callum Farrer, Zarin Galea, Cooper Howlett, Callum Phillips, Stevie Scholey, Cole Walker-Taylor, Dom Wear.
