
A cyclist was airlifted to hospital after an incident in West Cumbria.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service said it was called at around 5.15pm on Saturday, July 12, to Salterbeck in Workington.
The charity said: “We had a paramedic and doctor on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 5.33pm.
“Our team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess and treat a patient before airlifting them to hospital.”
